FRIM "Janaam din"
Finally, Matyen was not on standby! It must have been frustrating for Matyen when he couldn't join our past two rides. Thus last Monday he quickly suggested this FRIM ride. And ironically at the same time Shah emailed the group saying that Yeop wanted to ride FRIM. However, late Friday, the "almost expected" thing happened - Yeop backed out while Shah gave a 50-50 commitment. Not a big issue as we would still have many riders - Faizal + three of his collegaues whom he said "starting to mtb", Seken, Matyen and yours truely. Not bad at all - four LoSkAn + three guests!I was still lazing on the bed when Chelan called at 7:30am Saturday morning. "Bang... kol baper jumpa di FRIM?" was his question to me after asking me if I was still sleeping... hehehehe.... Well as I arrived our agreed RV place near the waterfall in FRIM, all the other four LoSkAn were alredy there. Faizal & Sekan just finished their breakfast while Matyen was just starting to savour his nasi lemak. When I asked about his three colleagues, Faizal said "janji kol 8:30 kayuh, dierang punctual... jadi dierang dah jalan dulu" muaahahahahaha.... funny dude! The truth? his three 'friends' chickened out, stood him up, 'kencing' or simply was not joining us on this ride. No a big issue. Five LoSkAn is enuff to have a fun ride!At around 9:30am, we rolled. But before that, Faizal & Matyen did a bit of BBS (Bicycle Buy & Sell) offline... not sure what was sold/bought as it was done quickly and the item was never taken out of that plastic bag. Chelan & Seken curiously looked....Which route? Faizal wanted to do the dream trail.... but due to Seken's and Chelan's reluctance, we repeted our first ride's route - rover track all the way to Sungai Buloh and back through the back of Taman Ehsan, around the Taman Botanical... The only difference is that we rode the "Amir's trail" ~ I think its officially known as the 501 track.
